Paris Fashion Week: a CNN International-FashionMag.com partnership

During Paris Fashion Week, CNN International will broadcast "Fashion Season: Paris”, a series of backstage reports that will be made available on FashionMag.com.

The reports will be broadcast on CNN’s show the International Desk at 4pm and 7pm on Thursday the 25th, Friday the 26th, Monday the 29rd and Tuesday, September 30. They will be posted on FashionMag.com in our French, Italian, Spanish and English editions. 

Presented by TV presenter and musician Myleene Klass, the reports will include a tour of the fashion house Balmain accompanied by its artistic director Olivier Rousteing, who will discuss the philosophy of the brand and of its next collection; as well as a spotlight on China’s most famous model, Liu Wen, who within 5 years, after campaigns for Calvin Klein and Hugo Boss, has gone from an unknown teenager to the fifth highest paid model in the world. 

"The Fashion Season: Paris" will follow Klass as she hops over to the Parisian catwalks, having a conversation with Etienne Russo, one of the largest fashion show producers, who over the past 20 years has worked with the biggest fashion houses in the world, including Lanvin, Miu Miu and Chanel.

The report will unfold as Russo prepares for the Kenzo and Lanvin shows. Klass will also meet with the editor of Vogue China, Angelica Cheung, to discover which designers are making it big in the world’s largest luxury market; and finally there will be a story about fashion bloggers, including the Russian blogger Miroslava Duma of Buro 24/7. 

A 30-minute special featuring the best stories will also be aired on CNN at the beginning of October.
