MM6, a line launched in 1997 by Maison Martin Margiela, has taken advantage of the New York fashion Week to present its Autumn/Winter 2011 first ever capsule collection, entirely dedicated to women. The location for the launch was chosen because of the brand partnership with the American company Opening Ceremony.

The fashionable multi-brand store from Manhattan, which also has its own self-named collection, has entered a partnership with Maison Martin Margiela in order to produce around 20 pieces, but which could lead to infinite combinations. The whole concept of this capsule collection resides in “modularity and interchangeability”, two important values of the company. Each unit also hides multiple functionalities, where high boots can be transformed into ankle boots, trousers can become leggings, etc.
The new capsule collection will be available for purchase from September 2011, at Opening Ceremony stores in Manhattan, Los Angeles, Tokyo and all of MM6’s points of sale.
