Jil Sander: CEO steps down
Alessandro Cremonesi is leaving his position as CEO of Jil Sander at the end of the month. The Italian executive joined the German footwear label, which is owned by the Japanese group Onward, in September 2008 as CFO. Ten months later he was named CEO following the departure of Gian Giacomo Ferraris, who left to work at Versace.
"After seven years, it’s time for me to take new steps and find a new direction," he told WWD.
He will be replaced in the interim by Franco Pene, President of Onward Luxury Group (ex-Gibo), the European arm of the Japanese group.
