Arena is taken on by Riverside

Arena changes hands. The beachwear brand has just been bought by Riverside, an international capital investment firm. The seller is the Italian investor BS Private Equity. Tha purchase sum has not been specified.

The management team is expected to stay at the same location. Founded in 1973 by Horst Dassler, son of the founder of Adidas, Arena's turnover is announced at about one hundred million Euros. "We are convinced that Riverside will be an outstanding partner, able to support Arena's future growth with the goal of becoming global leader in the water sports market", said Cristiano Portas, CEO of the Arena Group.
