The National Association for the Development of the Fashion Arts in France has awarded their annual prize to Stéphane Ashpool of label Pigalle Paris.

Ashpool, who launched his brand in 2009, wins around $276,788 in prize money as well as a year's mentorship by Bruno Pavlovsky, Chanel's President of Global Fashion. Aslo incuded in the prize package is a collaboration with thecorner.com and around $11,000 or the equalivalent in Swarovski crystals.

The ANDAM prize is a respected benchmark for professionals in the fashion industry. ANDAM explain their mission on their website: "To identify emerging talents in contemporary fashion design and offer them (...) the means to produce a runway show during Paris Fashion Week, and to establish and develop their label in France over time."
