Zendaya launches clothing line

Teenage singer/actress Zendaya Coleman is releasing her first clothing line on November 3rd. To celebrate the launch of the collection, Zendaya will be hosting pop-up shops in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago this upcoming weekend.

The collection will run in a full range of sizes, from 0-22. The collection is set at an affordable price range, with pieces starting at $18 and capping out at $158.

Zendaya Coleman, known mononymously as Zendaya, gained her fame starring in the Disney Channel show “Shake it Up”. She’s continued to star in several Disney movies and TV shows, as well as released two albums. She since has gone on to become a style star in her own right, starring in Dolce & Gabbana’s most recent campaign and being named one of Vogue’s rising fashion icons.

According to Zendaya, the line isn’t focused on trends, but will be a mix of classic pieces and statement pieces. Early images of the line include a simple satin slip dress, a velvet jumpsuit, and a black form-fitting mini dress.The collection is designed by Zendaya and her long-time stylist Law Roach.

This is not Zendaya’s first line. Her namesake footwear line, released earlier this year, was carried in Nordstrom, Kohls, and Macy’s, with styles in the affordable range from $70-$110.

The Daya by Zendaya collection will be released on Thursday, November 3rd at select retailers.
