Wax London launches collab with mosaic artist Soller

UK contemporary clothing brand Wax London is launching a limited edition, exclusive collaboration with British mosaic artist Soller on Thursday. The link-up marks its first move into lifestyle and homewares and also sees the menswear brand offering a unisex line-up.

It comprises four limited edition T-shirts (two short sleeve and two long sleeve), all with specially designed mosaic prints and embroidery by Soller. Also in the collection is an exclusive tote bag, as well as six limited edition handmade mosaics. The tees retail at £40 and £45.

It’s an interesting partnership that sees Soller founder Charlie Sheppard’s unique take on the medium of mosaic joining up with Wax’s interest in print and sustainability.

The collaboration's starting point was the Bulgarian Rose, a nod to Wax London co-founder and creative director Steffy Neceva’s Bulgarian heritage. This is combined with the Mediterranean inspiration evident throughout the Wax London SS21 collection and the Soller brand.

The launch also comes with a special mosaic installation by Soller in the Wax London flagship store at 28 Foubert’s Place in Carnaby that will be available to view for three days only. 

The company also said the T-shirts “are made from 100% organic cotton, from an ethical factory that prioritises the welfare of their staff and minimises their impact on the environment”.
