Volcom changes its management in Europe

Todd Hymell has revised Volcom's management teams. The Kering group's top manager was appointed in early December as Volcom's CEO, in place of Jason Steris, and has created his own entourage.

After thanking Eric John, the retail director, earlier in the month, the brand today confirmed Joost Grootswagers's promotion to the post of  President of Volcom Europe. The position of CEO Europe, filled by Bruno Gujer, has been eliminated now that the manager has left the company.

Joost Grootswagers was recently in charge of the brand's wholesale and retail sales in Europe. He formerly worked at Sole Technology, Gaastra and O'Neill, and joined Volcom in 2011.
