Valentino to host Haute Couture show in Rome

Valentino Haute Couture is leaving Paris for a season. The Italian luxury house has indeed announced that it will be presenting its 2015-16 fall/winter collection "exclusively in Rome on 10 July 2015".

The house would like to hold "a special event" to celebrate the opening of its flagship store on the famous Piazza Fontana, next to the Piazza Mignanelli, near the company’s historic headquarters overlooking the Spanish Steps.

The event is to be a one-time thing only, though, since the Valentino Haute Couture line plans on returning to Paris for January 2016.

In the same spirit, Valentino has scheduled a special event in December in New York to celebrate the inauguration of its flagship store opened in July on Fifth Avenue.
