Tranoï show taps Kristelle Kocher as creative director

This is a first for Parisian trade show Tranoï. For its next autumn edition, scheduled from September 29 to October 2 at Palais Brongniart, Tranoï has enlisted French designer Kristelle Kocher, founder of the Koché label and creative director at feather artisan Lemarié, as the creative director for the event’s womenswear session.

While the exact details of the collaboration are not yet known – they will be revealed later in June – it will hinge on “sharing a strong, engaged vision of fashion,” according to Boris Provost, president of Tranoï. “We share the same values of openness in fashion, and we have the same commitment to emerging international designers,” he added.

Kocher, who acknowledged “Tranoï’s work to promote emerging designers and independent labels,” will also sit on the selection committee that will choose the brands present at the September edition, and will reveal her favourites in a dedicated section within the show. A masterclass by Kocher is also scheduled on Thursday September 29.
