The Box back on track for next March

Published
Oct 6, 2011

The Box was going to be cancelled, the organisers of WSN Développement announced during a press conference after the fusion of their September trade shows. The decision had even been confirmed a few days before the opening of the 2nd session of trade shows in Paris, which just ended recently. The reason behind it was that WSN wanted to focus solely on the accessories at Première Classe.

But they seem to have forgotten to take into account the future of the 100 or so exhibitors at The Box. With Première Classe unable to take all of them and 3,000 visitors left unhappy, plus considering the popularity of the trade fair that had just celebrated its 5th anniversary, the weight of their decision to cancel it soon fell on their shoulders.

This probably explains what happened next: WSN decided not cancel The Box after all. The organisers have informed exhibitors that the accessories trade show should take place as usual in March next year.
