Terminal 27 celebrates first anniversary with memorable party

The successful concept store, which opened last year with Maxfield alumna Ericka del Rosario as creative director and Mason Rothschild as marketing director, organized a memorable party this Tuesday evening on Fairfax avenue, the former headquarters of the National Council of Jewish Women Los Angeles.

More than 600 guests were invited to come and taste weed edibles and vegan ice-cream, relax in a flower-power lounge, play in an arcade-game room and strike a pose in front of racing cars. A frothy and fun atmosphere that turned into a full dance floor with Joey Kay, the CEO and co-founder of Soulection, a platform for future music and artist development; DJ duo Simi and Haze Khadra and Korean DJ Peggy Gou who played a two-hour set.
 
In addition to the entire Terminal 27 team, many celebrities were present at the event including Willow Smith, The Weeknd, model and photographer Jacob Bixenman, musician and DJ Kaytranada and model and social influencer Fai Khadra. 

Opened last April, Terminal 27 transformed the florist Eric Buterbaugh’s former garden boutique into a new temple of fashion for men and women, decorated with high-end furniture and Transformers sculptures. In their space shuttle with a Japanese garden, the co-founders offer a selection of emerging brands as Feng Chen Wang, Bethany Williams, Eckhaus Latta and luxury brands such as Acne Studios or Marni. Soon, they will welcome new brands such as Hood by Air and Anderson Bell. 
 
Their pop-up café has also organized an interesting range of events and performances, and welcomed Lexie Park, creator of Eat Nunchi jelly cakes, and Middleman, vintage purveyor.
