Tennis player Ana Ivanovic to be ambassador of Shiseido's WetForce Sunscreen

With the start of Wimbledon just three days away, Shiseido has announced that Serbian-born tennis star Ana Ivanovic will become the face of its WetForce sun protection line.

The new sunscreen, launched in May, has been designed to maintain high performance even during water exposure or perspiration. The product works with the minerals found naturally in water and sweat to create an all-over protective "veil" for skin.

Ivanovic is set to start shooting the WetForce campaign in London next month, but she's already been putting the sun protector to the test out on the courts.

Speaking in an interview with Women's Wear Daily, the athlete called the product a "revelation" and said, "I could sweat and run and I didn't feel my sun cream running into my eyes or onto my racket."

The first images from the Shiseido WetForce shoot are expected in late August, to coincide with the start of the U.S. Open on August 31.
