Spring 2015 makeup: color and whimsy at Paul & Joe

The beauty brand Paul & Joe has presented Ménagerie, its spring 2015 makeup line, with a range of fresh and vibrant colors inspired by the animal kingdom.

Fashionistas are familiar with Paul & Joe's signature animal prints, as seen in the ready-to-wear collections by designer Sophie Mechaly. Now these motifs have made their way into the realm of cosmetics, inspiring the colors and packaging of the latest Paul & Joe makeup line.

The Ménagerie collection includes CS lipstick refills in three saturated colors (beige, coral and glamorous red) with mix-and-match cases decorated with monkey, giraffe and cat prints. 

Paul & Joe also offers its Cheek Color and Eye Color CS in three new palettes, each with four shades embossed with four different animals. There is a hippopotamus for contouring, a cat for shading the eyes, a swan for highlighting and an elephant for blushing the cheeks.

Five eye-catching nail polishes (kangaroo, polar bear, pink parrot, green turtle and peacock feathers) and a pastel eye shimmer round out this whimsical makeup look.

Paul & Joe's Ménagerie collection will go on sale in a limited edition from January 2015, with the exception of the eye shimmer, which will arrive in February. Prices range from €8 to €34 (around $10 to $42).
