One of Paris Fashion Week's most conceptual designers remained true to his taste for dark directional fashion. Thursday night's runway show was replete with asymmetrical folds, voluminous styling and comforting cloak-like outerwear that are sure to be a hit with Rick Owens' cult following.

This season saw the US designer channel a slightly more feminine direction.

Owens' signature long blanket-like tailoring was embellished with bands of gold and silver sequins -- a new addition that added a touch of glamour.

One of the standout looks to emerge from the designer's vivid imagination was a sleeveless cape with kite-like proportions.

The collection's "Sphinx" theme was spectacularly reflected in the gold and silver leaf makeup donned by Owen's model army.
