Speciality Fashion Group's plus-size offering ramps up retail presence

Specialty Fashion Group's plus size offering City Chic continues to expand its presence with new retail ventures inked both domestically and abroad.

Most recently, SFG has launched a world-first retail haven, catering specifically to plus size customers and mature women.

The 'One Woman' store opened in Sydney last week at Stockland Wetherill Park. Spanning 750 square metres, it stocks SFG's leading brand City Chic, which specialises in plus-size clothing including lingerie, denim, dresses and activewear for women. 

The mature market has also been catered for with fellow SFG brands Katies, Millers, Rivers, Autograph and Crossroads setting up shop.

City Chic, owned by Specialty Fashion Group, also inked a new partnership agreement with Australian department store Myer this April, to be stocked across 30 domestic stores.

Additionally, as part of its global expansion, City Chic has been picked up in the US by 100 Macy’s stores and 60 Nordstrom outlets.

The plus size brand has also entered the UK market recently, with product trials with the Arcadia Group's Evans. Three new City Chic stores have also been opened in the UAE under a license agreement.
