Sophia Webster launches bridal footwear

Sophia Webster, the British footwear designer known for her joyful, kooky creations, is entering the bridal market with a new collection.

Webster, who started her career working as the assistant to footwear designer Nicholas Kirkwood, has created a collection that includes the "Coco Crystal" shoe, an ice blue satin pump with a beaded heel and the words "Wifey for Lifey" on the sole, as well as six other shoe styles and two bags.

"I was finding a lot of women on my Instagram tagging me in their wedding photos, having chosen shoes from my mainline for the big day," the designer told Vogue. She adds: "I think it was important to have a collection that offered both a fun and classic aesthetic. "

Webster's bridal collection starts at £350.
