Rodd & Gunn celebrates first U.S. store on Fashion Island

Rodd & Gunn celebrated the grand opening of its first U.S. flagship store on October 7, 2016 with a private party at Fashion Island.

The New Zealand-based menswear brand's debut American flagship opened with vaulted wood beam ceilings, herringbone wood panelling and a digital backdrop with an integrated LifeCam window showcasing Rodd & Gunn's mountainside storefront in Queenstown, New Zealand.

Some 250 VIP guests attended the store launch party including Kellan Lutz, Lawrence Zarian, Tim Burnham and some of SoCal’s top men’s style influencers.

“We jumped at the chance to open a store at Fashion Island here in Newport Beach – we feel the Newport Beach community embodies the ideal Rodd & Gunn customer,” said Mike Beagley, managing director for Rodd & Gunn.

Rodd & Gunn is known for its tailored shirts, knitwear, polo shirts, Italian leather shoes, bespoke leather luggage and accessories.

It launched in New Zealand in 1987.

The new Rodd & Gunn store is located at 401 Newport Center Dr., Newport Beach.
