The latest edition of British tradeshow Pure London took place on February 8-10 and attracted a strong mix of independent retailers, multiples and department stores, the company said.

Over 800 brands showed their autumn/winter collections at the show, which also welcomed 20 buyers from leading Chinese retailers, including Yigue and the Ningbo Peacebird Group. This was part of an initiative for Pure Shanghai, which will take place in October, and in partnership with UKTI.

This season also had more than 80 new accessories brands joining Pure London. Patricia Fortuna, commercial director for Portuguese brand Ame Moi, said: "The show has been very successful for networking and making new contacts. We've already seen buyers from Harrods and other department stores and retailers."

There were a total of 300 new brands across the show. Buyers were also positive: Deryane  Tadd,  Owner  of  award‐winning independent The Dressing Room, told Pure that the show felt considerably 'cooler' this season, with 'a really good layout, strong branding and a lot of new additions, which is what it is all about!"
