Pure London to spotlight new-to-UK Spanish brands in February

UK trade fashion buying event Pure London has joined forces with The Spanish Federation of Clothing Companies (FEDECON) to showcase 15 Spanish fashion brands at next month’s show at London Olympia (12-14 February).

Among the brands are a number of designers new to both Pure London and the UK.

Included in the wider group are YERSE, Vilagallo, Camper, Lola Casademunt, SonataChic, Alpe, Anartxy, Costurero Real, Julie D’orleac, Loreto Martinez, Luna Llena, Macarena, Natural World, Thanny and Virago Barcelona.

The new brands include Barcelona-based Lola Casademunt, whichbrings two lines featuring womenswear and accessories, its core signature line and the premium line Lola Casademunt by Maite; Virago Barcelona, an independent fashion label that draws on the glamour of traditional Spanish dressing; plus boho fashion label Luna Llena; and contemporary womenswear brand Julie D’orleac.

A FEDECON spokeswoman added: “The British fashion industry continues to attract Spanish fashion brands, with more adventurous consumers interested in trends and the high quality expected from Spain. We are delighted to be showcasing brands such as Camper, Vilagallo, and Yerse at Pure London and to continue developing their growing presence in the UK, as well as presenting some exciting new designers.”
