Première Vision show to be staged again digitally in February

The February session of the Première Vision Paris show once again won’t be staged physically. The organiser of the textile and apparel event has opted, as it did in September, for an online edition, scheduled on February 15-19.

Première Vision

Première Vision’s September digital session attracted 19,500 visitors and 4,000 conference participants, as well as 1,675 exhibitors showcasing over 43,000 products on the show’s e-marketplace.

The February session will feature exhibitors from around the world, as well as trend analysis meetings, virtual forums, fashion webinars, networking tools and a cycle of conferences focusing on the industry's current challenges.

Participants will find all the new features on Première Vision's recently revamped website, which will act as the event's central hub. In the course of the year, all the various PV events (Fabrics, Yarn, Leather, Accessories, Design and Manufacturing) will gradually be included on the website, which has been redesigned for smoother browsing and better legibility. The web pages dedicated to individual exhibitors have also been refashioned, with new graphics and more information.

“We clearly perceive a desire to return to physical shows when we talk with exhibitors,” said Gilles Lasbordes, the show's director, who also indicated that a significant degree of uncertainty about the health situation is going to remain a factor in the first half of 2021. “But we’re all beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel. We’re determined to stage events in 2021, and we’re planning more extensive initiatives in the second quarter, once international travel will gradually become possible in Europe and beyond,” added Lasbordes.

From November 30 to December 4, Première Vision staged its Digital Denim Week, which replaced the originally planned Denim Première Vision show. A few days earlier, on November 25-27, the organiser staged the inaugural edition of Première Vision Shenzhen, which is set to be held twice yearly as part of the Fashion Source textile events.
