Sacoor Brothers, one of Portugal’s most internationalised fashion brands, is entering the UK market with the opening of boutiques in two shopping centres in London, one in Westfield London and the other in Westfield Stratford.

The two stores, covering areas of 730 and 590 square metres respectively, were launched in September. A third boutique is scheduled to open at the beginning of 2012 in Kent. The brand’s ambitious expansion project will be consolidated with the opening of a new flagship in the heart of the English capital, as well as other boutiques spread across shopping centres in several cities in the country.

Sacoor Brothers already operates 60 stores in the four corners of the world: 39 in Portugal, 5 in Spain (Madrid, Seville, Bilbao, Tui and Barcelona), 7 in Dubai and one in Belgium, Moldavia, Romania, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman.

Founded in 1989 by the Sacoor brothers (of Indian origin), the brand signed a contract with Barcelona’s football team, familiarly known as Barça, to be the "FC Barcelona Official Suit Supplier" until the 2012/12 season. As well as sponsoring other sports teams, Sacoor Brothers has featured many famous faces on its advertising campaigns, with the most recent one starring the actors from American television series CSI.

The brand offers a large range of products including clothes, shoes and accessories for men, women and children.

The company is currently putting all its efforts into increasing the number of Sacoor Brothers points of sale abroad, mainly at shopping centres.
