Nicole Farhi appoints new CEO

Published
Apr 1, 2014

After being acquired last year by Maxine Hargreaves-Adams, Nicole Farhi has announced the arrival of its new CEO, Martin Mason, effective 1 April. The exectutive previously served as head of Lulu Guinness and has worked in several prominent British fashion houses, including Pringle of Scotland and Mulberry.

Nicole Farhi saw the departure of its previous CEO, François Steiner, in May 2013 following bankruptcy proceedings at the beginning of last summer. In the interim, Sion Kearsey, of Kelso Place Asset Management, had taken over management duties on a temporary basis before handing over the reins to Maxine Hargreaves-Adams, daughter of the founder of Matalan, in July 2013. Ex-Acquascutum boss Joanna Sykes, meanwhile, has been serving as creative director.

Present at both men's and women’s London fashion weeks, Nicole Farhi owns six stores and has concessions in nine department store corners as well as an online shop.
