Neinver to open three new outlets in Europe

The Spanish outlet specialist has announced plans to open three new outlet centres in Europe two of which will open before the end of 2015. The outlets will open in Spain, Holland and Germany.

In Spain, Neinver is looking to open Catalonia’s first outlet centre. At a 25,000m² location comprised of 150 units, Viladecans The Style Outlets will be situated just 10 minutes down the motorway from Barcelona. With an 80 million euros investment behind it, works are due to commence in early 2014 for completion by the end of 2015.

A similar time scale has been proposed for Amsterdam The Style Outlets, the fruit of a collaboration with Mab Development. The centre will feature 100 stores in an 18,000m² location in the city’s former industrial zone, also known as ‘Sugar City’.

“These projects constitute a step further in the strategy of the Group which pursues Neinver European leadership through its consolidation in countries where it is already present and the entry into new markets,” says the management at Neinver

Still at a an early stage of development, the group’s joint venture for the German project has just secured the land for the construction of a centre in Werl in North Rhine Westphalia.

Neinver currently manages 15 outlet centres with a gross leasable area of 311,000m² across six countries. The group also operated 445,000m² of retail space in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Portugal and Poland.
