Miu Miu hires Serge Carreira to bolster management

Miu Miu is accelerating its growth and muscling up management. Following Miu Miu's recent relocation of its headquarters to Paris, the women's ready-to-wear brand owned by the Prada Group recruited Serge Carreira in April to serve as its retail merchandising director for ready-to-wear worldwide.

The young executive started working for the Italian luxury group in 2005 as its retail merchandising coordinator for Prada Retail France. He began his career in the industry at Galeries Lafayette, where worked as a buyer.

Serge Carreira holds a postgraduate degree from the University of Assas and a degree in political science from the Institute of Political Studies of Paris, where he has also been a lecturer since September 2004.
