Missoni Baia luxury condo unveiled In Miami

Miami-based development company OKO Group on Tuesday revealed details about Missoni Baia, the 57-story luxury condominium tower set in Miami.

 
Missoni Baia is the first-ever branded residence from Missoni and it consists of 146 residences ranging from two to four bedrooms and 2,500 square feet to 3,700 square feet. New York-based architecture firm Asymptote Architecture, led by Co-Founder and Design Partner Hani Rashid and Lise Anne Couture, designed the 649-foot-tall tower with aerodynamic super-columns that make the glass facades mullion-free. The tropical landscaping was designed by Swiss landscape architect Enzo Enea.

The idea of bringing not just the Missoni vision, but the Missoni lifestyle to a residential project is something I find very inspiring, so when we heard about the concept it seemed like the perfect partnership. I'm looking forward to presenting the world's first Missoni residential collaboration and celebrating the conviviality and allure of living on the waterfront."

The Edgewater waterfront tower interior features Missoni’s trademark color palette and home furniture collection; a flow-through deck for sunbathing; five swimming pools including an Olympic-sized lap pool and an infinity-edge pool; tennis courts and an expansive fitness center and spa.
 
Hani Rashid, Co-Founder and Design Partner, Asymptote Architecture, said: "Miami is today a globally significant city, and its new architecture needs to reflect and celebrate this coming of age. The architecture for Missoni Baia takes its inspiration from equally beautiful and pristine sculptural works by the great American minimalist sculptors such as Sol Lewitt and Donald Judd, coupled with the mathematical poetry of the great Venezuelan artist Jesus Soto. These artists celebrated purity, musicality and the eloquence of perfect form, and from that DNA this tower was conceived as a nod to an elegant and new Miami."

Missoni Baia is located at 777 N.E. 26th Terrace in the Edgewater neighborhood of Miami.
