Melbourne opens new shopping hub, French mid-luxe labels invade

Published
May 10, 2016

A new city-centre shopping hub is opening May 12 in Melbourne. St. Collins Lane will welcome a host of first-time-in-Australia international brands, as well as big name foreign retailers and local designers.

Melbourne's latest shopping hub - St. Collins Lane

Located at 260 Collins Street, the old Australia On Collins building has undergone a $30 million redevelopment to facilitate the new stores. Around 60 luxury boutiques will take over 9,000 square-metres of retail space once completed.

St. Collins Lane will house lingerie brand L'Agent and fashion retailers Kooples and Zadig & Voltaire, who are making their Australia debut.

Other big-name offshore retailers to sign-up include Sandro and Maje, Folli Follie and Reiss. Coach, TAG Heuer and Furla are also confirmed for the precinct.

On the local front, Australian designers Cerrone, MJ Bale, Cue, Review, Declic and Maggie T are set to take part.
