As London Fashion Week gets closer, three key London shopping neighbourhoods (Carnaby, Soho and Marylebone Village) are getting involved in the British Fashion Council’s LFW: City Wide Celebration.

This time last year, London was under lockdown and last September, the return to normality was still a work in progress. But with international visitors now returning and this being the first opportunity for some physical events in almost two years, this LFW will a key opportunity to boost fashion sales.

The activations will be taking place from 18-22 February with names from Howard de Walden’s Marylebone Village estate including Wyse London, By Rotation, Bloobloom, French Sole, Fresh, John Bell & Croyden, Kastur Jewels, Livy, Isabel Manns, Luca Faloni, Anglo-Italian, Tracey Neuls, Sweaty Betty, Dinny Hall, Rixo, Monsoon, Consigned Sealed Delivered and more.

Events planned include Wyse London holding a ticketed styling event alongside discounts and personal shopping; Isabel Manns offering shoppers an exclusive preview, goodie bags and 15% off of her newest collection (launching early in-store as part of LFW); and luxury pre-owned clothing boutique Consigned Sealed Delivered having a photo booth, discounts, goodie bags and music.

Over at Monsoon, there will be two in-store yoga sessions on 21 February; and newcomer eyewear brand Bloobloom will be hosting a champagne reception for shoppers daily.

There will be discounts at Dinny Hall; and an exclusive LFW party with an in-store concert at French Sole.

Meanwhile London landlord Shaftesbury said Carnaby and Soho retailers are also taking part with exclusive perks, in-store events, and activations, while restaurants are joining in with specially designed cocktails and menus.

Carnaby brands participating include Ganni, Folie, Scotch & Soda, Bar Crispin, War Paint For Men, and Mallet London. And Soho names taking part are Toast Menswear, Mark Powell, Soma, Kricket, Dunno Curated, and Footpatrol.

Shaftesbury’s retail director Samantha Bain-Mollinson said it’s “a great opportunity to showcase our amazing tenants and to bring LFW followers to Carnaby and Soho. We are excited to see the influx of people coming to the already thriving shopping and dining destination as a result of the campaign”.
