Martin Arnold named portfolio director of Pure, Scoop, Jacket Required and Moda

ITE Group, the company specialising in the organisation of exhibitions and conferences, has announced two key appointments within its Fashion Portfolio team.

Martin Arnold has been named portfolio director, assuming responsibility for ITE’s fashion trade shows including Pure London, Pure Origin, Scoop, Jacket Required and Moda.

He will join ITE Group in March from EMAP, where he is currently commercial director for Fashion Retail & Jewellery. An experienced brand leader, he has over 20 years of experience working across several media formats, and his experience includes leading complex portfolios with multiple brands as well as coaching and developing individuals to achieve success.

“Martin is an industry figurehead and will lead the portfolio into the next stage of growth,” commented Julie Driscoll, who has been appointed UK regional director at ITE.

In her new role, Driscoll will be be responsible for all of ITE’s B2B trade events, including Pure London, Jacket Required, Scoop, Moda and also the Spring and Autumn Fairs. She was previously managing director of Pure, and was promoted to managing director of the ITE Fashion Portfolio following the group’s acquisition of Ascential Events last year.

She commented on her new role: “I feel honoured to be guiding these established retail events through an exciting time for the industry. My aim is to deliver a higher return on investment for our exhibitors and an unrivalled return on time for buyers.”

In addition to Arnold and Driscoll’s appointment, ITE has promoted of Shirin Akhtar to head of marketing.
