M.A.C Cosmetics unveils new 'Electric Wonder' collection

Beauty brand M.A.C Cosmetics is switching on summer with its new "Electric Wonder" makeup collection, inspired by nature's power and riches. 

While the collection products promise glow, shimmer and illuminating effects -- bang on trend for summer -- the line above all turns heads with its packaging. Finished in a palette of pinks, veering towards purple in places, the cases are marbled with gold as if struck by a flash of lightning. These colors are echoed in the collection, which is rich in shades of pink, coral, bronze, brown, beige and gold.

M.A.C Cosmetics electrifies eyes with two palettes. "Natural Vice" focuses on warm shades, with matte-, satin- and pearl-finish hues (golden peach, reddish brown, yellow gold, pearly red-brown, nude, mauvy pink). "Desert Lightning," on the other hand, features earth-inspired colors and celestial shades, such as pearly seafoam green, platinum and matte black.

M.A.C has included several face powders in this summer selection. Beauty fans can shop the "Ignite Wonder Face Palette," giving skin a summery glow and a sunkissed touch, or opt for the multiple shimmering reflections of "Electric Wonder Iridescent Powder." The "Next To Nothing Bronzing Powder" is also on hand to bring a bronzed glow to skin.

The collection includes a selection of lipsticks -- in colors ranging from coral beige to mauve brown to bubblegum pink -- as well as lipglosses in striking shades and several brushes for face and eyes.
