Lenny and Zoe Kravitz star in new ad campaign for travel luggage brand Tumi

Father-daughter duo Lenny and Zoe Kravitz have been tapped as the new faces of luggage and travel accessories brand Tumi



The campaign marks the first time the two have appeared together on a film project. Set in the Bahamas, Lenny takes daughter Zoe on an ancestral journey that explores their family's Bahamian heritage. 

Between cinematic shots of intimate father-daughter moments are images of Tumi's new Alpha 3 collection, made with its signature Ballistic Nylon material, which was originally used by the military to protect WWII troops from shrapnel. 

The material was incorporated into the brand's luggage designs for ultra-durability in 1983. The newest Alpha collection covers backpacks, day bags, accessories and suitcases. 

"To me, this campaign is about connecting with ourselves, our roots, and with each other," said Zoë Kravitz in a press release.  

"...It was amazing to travel to the other side of the island for my first time to see where my family originated from and to pay respect to our elders and those who came before us -- to experience that with my father was monumental." 

Lenny and Zoe Kravitz follow after actress Rosario Dawson, who fronted the fall 2018 collection.
