LaFleur Polo, a brand with an ethical and patriotic dimension

LaFleur Polo features men's polo shirts that pay tribute to Quebec, manufactured from Pima cotton imported from Peru. Designer Charles Leclerc, with a French father and an American mother, was immersed in twin cultures from early on, and now finds himself sharing the Quebec French-speaking heritage.

To honour this heritage, the founder has chosen to develop a polo brand manufactured in Quebec, with the Fleur-de-lis, the city's emblem, transmitting the values of pride, courage and prestige, as its logo. The brand thus directly participates in developing the local economy.

And what's more, its choice of organic cotton, Pima is a certified organic cotton that bears the EKO label, positions the brand as environmentally conscious and committed to a fair economy, in which the work of each individual is respected. Charles Leclerc stands behind the idea of offering customers the choice of responsible consumption.

There are currently two models on offer: the first polo shirt is Fleur-de-lis blue, a reference to the Quebec flag, and the second is black. The range will expand the next autumn, offering several more colours and a women's line. Also, the company is looking to diversify, with a project under development featuring Alpaca sweaters.

Distribution-wise, the brand has a Canadian e-shop is and an international version should be online as of the end of the month. Concessions are in the works for Quebec and France.
