L’Oréal names financial communication GM

Sophie Gasperment has been as general manager, financial communication and strategic prospective, at L’Oréal, taking over from Thierry Prévot who has gone into retirement.

Sophie Gasperment joined the company in 1986 in the consumer goods division where she held operational and strategic roles on a global scale. In 2008 she took on the position of chief executive officer at The Body Shop International, having previously been managing director of L’Oréal in U.K. and Ireland from 2004.
