Earlier this month, contemporary women’s brand Joie opened its first boutique in Boston, on Newbury Street. The store is the brand’s tenth US location.
The 2,000 square foot space features a heavy French influence. A classic décor, traditional crown molding, washed oak floors, and vintage Parisian rugs resemble that of a Parisian apartment. The exterior’s design was influenced by French architecture and echoes the brand’s first Paris boutique at the Palais Royal. The Boston store will carry all of Joie’s collections: Joie, Joie Soft, and Joie Shoes.
"As we expand our retail footpoint on the east coast, Newbury Street is the obvious choice. We are extremely excited to open our first New England store in Boston," says Joie CEO Jack Schwefel.
Joie currently has four retail locations in California, three in New York, and two in Connecticut. The Newbury Street location joins brands such as Madewell, Patagonia, Nike, Lululemon, Burberry and Chanel.
