Jérôme Dreyfuss plans store in London after €2 million cash injection

Published
Nov 22, 2013

Label Jérôme Dreyfuss has received a cash injection of €2 million euros from French investment firm Audacia, a firm which has invested in brands such as Antik Batik and A.P.C.

“We are looking to open a flagship in Seoul at the end of 2013 and a unit in London in 2014,” said Rachel Chicheportiche, president at Jérôme Dreyfuss.

"In 2011, Jérôme Dreyfuss raised working capital for the company from first-round fudning at Audacia,” continued Chicheportiche. “The investment allowed us to finance our store in Paris and the opening of several concessions. It also allowed us to develop a line of shoes.”

In 2012, the company also launched its first line of bags for men, aptly named "Monsieur".

Sold at over 300 points of sale across the world, the brand currently directly operates three standalone stores in Paris and a store in New York, located next door to Isabel Marant, Dreyfuss’ wifes eponymous label. Created in 2003, over one half of the company’s revenue comes from exports.
