Italy's Camera Nazionale della Moda reelects Mario Boselli as president

Published

The National Chamber of Fashion in Italy is in the process of modernizing, marking the ‘end of an era’ for the organization that works with some of Italy’s most important brands.

The change follows the recent meeting at the organization during which the assembly chose to reelect Mario Boselli for a fifth term as president. New faces were added to the executive board: Diego Della Valle (Tod’s), Patrizio Bertelli (Prada), Renzo Rossi (Diesel), Silvi Venturi Fendi and Luigi Maramotto (Max Mara).

Mario Boselli presented a renewal project aimed at both consolidating the association’s leading role in the country’s fashion industry and changing the statute in order to appoint a CEO. The association wishes to involve key figures in the industry when making decisions and to implement a new corporate governance structure.

The association is set double its resources from 1.5 million in the wake of the proposed changes.
