Google's Bradley Horowitz joins Lyst board

Published
Jul 23, 2019

Growing fashion search platform Lyst has tapped internet heavyweight Bradley Horowitz to join its board of directors.

Lyst

Horowitz is currently vice president of product at Google, where he has held several leadership roles since he joined the internet giant in 2008. Prior to that, he was Yahoo’s president of advanced development, overseeing the Flickr and MyBlogLog acquisitions and the launch of the Brickhouse incubator.

He is joining Lyst at a time of growth, with the London-based business now regarded as the largest fashion search platform in the world. Over the past year, over 80 million shoppers have used the platform, which allows users to search thousands of online fashion stores at once.

Lyst has recently launched localised experiences in 14 countries, including France, Germany, Russia and Japan, and hired LucasMcGregor as new chief technology officer. Meanwhile, Simon Dance, former EU Head of SEO for Amazon, has returned to the company as SVP of growth, and Nicolas Combremont, previously at Expedia Group, is set to join in September as SVP of international.

Having a wealth of experience in large-scale consumer internet products, Bradley Horowitz will support Lyst on product development and management.

“Bradley is a true product visionary, with a wealth of experience in building and scaling world-leading technology companies. At this transformational time for the industry, his support will be invaluable as we continue on our mission to create the leading platform for all shoppers to search and discover fashion online,” said Lyst CEO and founder Chris Morton.

“Lyst is in a unique position in terms of scale and technology, with the huge global fashion ecommerce opportunity to play for. This makes for a product with exceptional growth potential. I’m hugely excited to be joining the board,” commented new board member Bradley Horowitz.

His appointment follows that of Ian Rogers, chief digital officer of LVMH, to the board in 2018.
