Gant to relocate flagship store on Regent Street

Lifestyle brand Gant is opening a new global flagship store at 184-185 Regent Street, relocating from its current Regent Street outpost.

The new House of Gant will showcase an entirely new in-store concept over two floors, presenting the brand’s Gant, Gant Diamond G and Gant Rugger.

Gant has been a Regent Street mainstay since 2010, when it opened its first UK flagship at 185-191 Regent Street.

Fergus Patterson, Managing Director of Gant UK & Ireland, said: “We are very excited to be opening a new Gant Regent Street store that will offer the House of Gant featuring an attractive and contemporary setting. We are thrilled to remain part of the premium fashion destination on Regent Street to continue offering customers the Gant brand experience”.

“It’s fantastic news that Gant’s iconic smart/casual clothing and classic American sportswear will continue to be a defining feature of Regent Street’s fashion line-up in a re-imagined global flagship store,” added Katerina Mercury from The Crown Estate, the company behind Regent Street’s select retail mix.

In the past year, the Crown Estate has worked with over 20 brands to open new stores on Regent Street as part of its ongoing investment programme. Among others, the company has collaborated with Michael Kors on its largest European store, which is set to open at The Crown Estate’s latest Regent Street redevelopment, W5 South; and supported Coach as it loos to open an expanded flagship store at 200-206 Regent Street.

Gant is a Stockholm-based international brand offering casual and smart clothing, footwear and accessories for both men and women.
