Gant appoints Karen Vogele as executive vice-president design and product

Karen Vogele has joined Gant’s senior management team. Formerly the product creation director for the Swedish ready-to-wear brand with US roots, Vogele has been promoted to the post of executive vice-president design and product.

“I am delighted to step into my new role and to work even more closely with the Creative and Product Creation teams. Gant has huge credibility, and has made much progress in its ability to innovate the product range, while staying true to its preppy, American-inspired sportswear heritage,” said Vogele.

She joined Gant in 2014, working at its Stockholm headquarters, as program management officer. She became product creation director last summer. Gant stated that Vogele’s appointment also means that the senior management team is now half made up by men and half by women.
