Furla to open third London store in Westfield mall

Published

London’s two Westfield malls are continuing to attract the biggest international names and Italian bag specialist Furla has just announced that Westfield London, the recently extended mall in the West of the city, will host its third London boutique.

Furla

The new store is at 1 Ariel Way and covers a single floor with a total retail selling space of 98 square metres. The company said it “immerses Furla lovers in an essentially Italian shopping experience.”

On offer in the new store are both the women’s and men’s collections, including bags, small leather goods and footwear, as well as sunglasses, jewellery, watches and textiles.

Furla said the interior design “is both elegant and modern thanks to an updated architectural concept” and the use of materials such as white calacatta marble, burnished iron, brushed oak, pink velvet fabric and light gold steel. Walls and flooring in a cement finish “further contribute to creating an essential and comfortable environment," we’re told.

Furla is gearing up for major business expansion at present and earlier this month announced its entry into the fragrance category in a deal with specialist company Mavive.

As well as entering beauty for the first time, it has been opening international stores this year and the company also reported that it generated revenue of €513 million in 2018, up 2.8% year-on-year.
