Etude House to launch Tom & Jerry-themed beauty collection

Tom & Jerry are getting a brand-new beauty collection for 2020. The animated cat and mouse duo have been snapped up by the Korean beauty brand Etude House, which is celebrating the start of 2020 (the Year of the Rat) with a playful new ‘Etude X Tom & Jerry' collection.

The series, which is expected to launch imminently, appears to include eyeshadows, lip balms and toothbrushes, as reported by Allure. The products are presented in playful, Tom & Jerry-themed packaging featuring 3D-iterations of the mischievous pair's faces.

The Warner Bros cartoons are the latest in a string of animated characters to front their own beauty collections, following an abundance of high-profile collaborations over the past year.

SpongeBob SquarePants landed his own beauty collection in July, after being recruited by HipDot Studios for a limited-edition series, while Japanese pop culture icon Hello Kitty launched a 15-shade holiday nail polish collection in October, in partnership with the manicure brand OPI.

Pokemon, Betty Boop and Disney's The Little Mermaid have also landed beauty deals over the course of 2019.
