DHL Exported - Cycle 2: the winners

Published
Oct 12, 2015

DHL, sponsor of CNMI, and IMG announced the winners of the DHL Exported - Cycle 2 awards: Marcel Ostertag, Sid Neigum, Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida, and Atsushi Nakashima will have the opportunity to showcase their Autumn/Winter 2016-17 and Spring/Summer 2017 collections at the world's most prestigious fashion weeks. It's a major chance to develop their brands and businesses.

The Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (the Italian Fashion Chamber) has once again sponsored this important initiative, which generated significant results in its first edition: an increase of up to 400% in online sales, a 50% increase in sales, and a significant expansion in the brands' international visibility.

Japanese designer Atsushi Nakashima will be on show at Milano Moda Donna. Nakashima graduated in 2001 from the  Nagoya Fashion College, and was awarded the 20th Onward Fashion Grand Prix (now known as the Tokyo New Designer Fashion Grand Prix). Success in this world-renowned award led Nakashima to become an assistant to Jean Paul Gaultier. In 2009 he was appointed head designer for one of the brand's junior lines but after only two years he returned to Tokyo to found his own brand.
