Denim by Première Vision gears up for its next edition

In November 2012, Paris trade show Denim by Première Vision rounded up a record 2,676 professionals and 82 companies. On November 27 and 28, the trade show will take place once again, this year with a new theme, ‘Engraved’, and 7 new exhibitors.

Exhibitors will be made of up 44% weavers and 23% manufacturers, laundries and finishers. Accessories will make up the remaining 21% of companies present. Turkey and Italy will be the countries most represented at the show, with 27 and 17 attendees respectively, with the large part of companies present originating from Mediterranean countries (30% Turkish, 19% Italian, 8% Morrocan, 7% Tunisian).
Newcomers to the show include Turkish weavers the Tusa Group and DNM Textile. As for finishers, System Tekstill, again Turkish, will attend the show as well as the French D&D Groupe. The accessories section will welcome Hong Kong company Copen United and Italians Dienpi Srl. Mactec Srl, another Italian, is a new addition to the show’s technology section.
In terms of what will be on show, the event will be scattered with various presentations and happenings. Weaver Isko and Italian research specialists Creative Room will present a new concept focused on young international talent. Invista and Lenzing will both present their latest technological advances, including a cellulosic blend fabric. Calik Denim will showcase its new process involves incorporating traditional Japanese Shibori art. Finally, Tavex has called in a magician to lure the crowds.
