Dan Rothmann joins Etro as CEO of Global Travel Retail and Americas

Luxury Italian label Etro continues to strengthen its international executive team and has named Dan Rothmann as its CEO of Global Travel Retail, as well as its new CEO of the firm’s Americas business.

Starting this week, he was previously CEO of Dolce & Gabbana North America (working for the company for five years) and before that, President and CEO of Chloé. 

In his new role he’ll be developing the global travel business as the sector bounces back from the giant hit it took during the pandemic. And he’ll oversee and expand all operations and businesses in the Americas.

But importantly, the company said he’ll also have “broader global brand involvement working with HQ functions in order to contribute to the brand elevation”.

Etro CEO Fabrizio Cardinali said: “As an accomplished executive with a proven history in domestic and international management, Dan brings his exceptional experience at a very important moment for our company.
