Cole Haan launches exclusive shoe collection with Hasan Minhaj

Lifestyle and accessories brand Cole Haan has partnered with comedian and writer Hasan Minhaj to design a limited-edition collection of men's hiker and sneaker styles. 

The Cole Haan x Hasan Minhaj collection "merges Cole Haan's innovative technology and meticulous craftsmanship with Hasan's personal and familial journey," opening with two 4.Zerogrand Hikers—part of Cole Haan's line of performance-built shoes made with a refined, dress shoe-inspired design. 

Built with pops of color and waterproof materials, the boots feature Cole Haan's triple-density foam cushioning, deep flex grooves to promote natural range of motion, and a lightweight TPU outsole for enhanced traction.

In December, the second release from the collaboration will be dropped, the GrandPro Rally Court Sneaker. 

All styles from the limited-edition collection were designed between Minhaj and Cole Haan with the added input of famed streetwear designer Jeff Staple and his creative agency, Reed Art Department. Each shoe style includes design elements that honor Minhaj's Urdu heritage, Cole Haan said, and feature the words "live" and "survive" inscribed on the footwear tongues, as well as the date that Minhaj landed his first big television job—October 9, which is also National Sneakers Day.

"Hasan's journey to write new rules is made apparent through everything that he does, and we're honored to tell his story through this collaboration."

The Cole Haan x Hasan Minhaj collection's 4.Zerogrand Hikers will launch on November 10 on colehaan.com and in select U.S. and international Cole Haan stores as of November 10, and the GrandPro Rally Court Sneaker styles will launch in December. The collection is priced from $170 to $270.
