Badgley Mischka launches dog collection

Badgley Mischka has teamed up with pet fashion company K9Wear for the launch of a high-quality apparel collection for dogs. 

Inspired by Mark Badgley and James Mischka’ own three adorable Daschunds, the partnership will give millions of dog owners a taste of the duo’s elegant aesthetic.

K9Wear, known for designing and manufacturing the first-ever interchangeable hybrid harness, will lend its design innovations and combine it with a highly stylish collection largely inspired by the RTW designs of Badgley Mischka.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with K9Wear on this exciting new collection,” said Badgley. “James and I have always owned and loved dogs and we are so excited that we can now dress our three Dachshunds – Rommel, Whiskey and Wally – in their new looks from K9Wear.”

“The fact that our new canine collection incorporates seasonal fabrics from our Ready-to-Wear collections allows dog owners to coordinate their pups looks with their own,” Mischka added. “It’s a fun, unique way of approaching dressing as we all head back out into the post-Covid world with our canine friends.”

For the launch of the special collection, the duo also tapped social media star Gabi Demartino to serve as an ambassador. As part of the partnership, the designers will collaborate with Gabi on the design of her wedding rehearsal dinner dress, as well as a matching look for Gabi’s beloved dog, Lilian Rose.

“Not only have I always adored Mark and James’ elegant and effortlessly sophisticated designs, but I’m also completely infatuated with my pup, Lilian Rose. Therefore, this entire collection is greatly appreciated by myself and I’m sure, other dog mamas and fashion lovers,” Demartino said.
