Several international designers presented their collections at this venue such as Emanuel Ungaro, Charles of London, and Tara Reid, whom arose a special interest in the Greek public. More than 30,000 visitors attended to the fashion and cultural festivities, according to an AXDW representative.

This fashion event aspired to attract renowned designers from round the globe, but also new local talents to exhibit their spring-summer collections, among which were Vassiliki Assimomiti, Ioanna, Elie, Papakosta, Rannia Angelakou, Maria Daskalaki, Xrisanthos, Marina Avdeeva, and Vassam Dawood.

The venue aimed internationally, in collaboration with The Hellenic Tourism Organization (EOT). Spectators benefited throughout the 4-day venue from Fashion smoothly intertwined with culture, arts, and tourism.

AXDW hosted an alternative Photo exhibition titled “UnfairyTales”, created by photographer Tassos Vrettos in collaboration with the top choreographer Konstantinos Rigos.

In addition, the event’s audience was incited to participate in the “Charity Gala Dinner Samsung Pink Ribbon” where they were able to see authentic costumes of the Greek Cinema and the progress of Greek Fashion in the past decades via cinema.

A distinct location aiming to exhibit and by so reaching to new audiences and niches such as the Middle East, the Balkans and Europe for foreign designers.
