Airbus A320 Crash: members of the fashion community among the victims

These are dark days for Germany, Spain and the others countries who lost citizens in the crash, for the friends and families of those lost, and for the fashion community, among others.

The Airbus A320 travelling from Barcelona to Düsseldorf has claimed 150 lives, including those of Ariadna Falguera, product manager of the Mismash and Paramita sub-brands of Smash!; external export consultant Thomas Treppe; two employees from the real estate department of Barcelona-based Desigual; and Esprit's Joseph Sabaté Casellas, an executive at the clothing firm.

Fashion brand Desigual observed a minute of silence for its deceased colleagues, a man and woman en route to Germany to hunt out locations for new stores.

Further details on the employees have not yet been released.

Meanwhile, Josep Sabaté Casellas, who used to work for the high-street clothing empire Inditex, had been working for the German fashion brand since 2014. He lived with his wife and children in Spain.
