After basketball and soccer, Thom Browne turns to golf

Thom Browne returns to the world of sport with a new golf capsule unveiled on Tuesday, October 30.

After dressing the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team, including a certain LeBron James, for the 2018 NBA Finals and signing a three-year contract as FC Barcelona's official off-pitch outfitter, Thom Browne is branching out from team sports with a capsule for the golf course. The American designer will unveil a golf capsule collection in his Milan store on Tuesday, October 30.

Thom Browne is yet to provide many details of the new collection, whether in terms of target customers or prices. However, a picture shared on the brand's Instagram page reveals a pair of high-heeled shoes with a golf-ball-and-tee heel. These are worn with diamond-print hosiery and a checked skirt.

Back in July, the designer was chosen to dress Lionel Messi, Samuel Umtiti, Ivan Rakitić and their teammates at the FC Barcelona soccer club. The brand currently provides the team with off-pitch tailored and formalwear attire sported before matches in Spain's La Liga national soccer league and the UEFA Champions League, securing Thom Browne pride of place in the world of soccer.
