ASOS non-exec director steps down

Published

Online fashion giant ASOS said Friday its non-executive director Karen Geary is to leave. She will not seek re-election at this year's AGM and will step down at the conclusion of the meeting on 1 December, it said.

No reason was given for her impending departure, although ASOS said a search to appoint a new non-executive director is underway and an announcement will be made as appropriate in due course.

Jørgen Lindemann, Chair of ASOS, said: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Karen for her significant contribution to ASOS, particularly in her role as Remuneration Committee Chair and as the Board's designated representative for employee engagement, and we wish her well for the future."

Earlier this month ASOS announced the timetable for its COO and CFO Mat Dunnn to step down from his roles at the firm as it restructures its executive team.

Dunn will “continue in his role and as a member of the board until at least 31 October and will remain employed until the end of the year to provide transitional support”.
